Synthetic turf can be photographed nearly year round, though a light snow or frost on the surface ruins the color, so winter shoots wait for a clear, dry morning. Shadows from light poles and grandstands stretch long in the afternoon, so we plan around sun angle for clean overheads.
Venue photography helps sell suites, rent the facility for events, and recruit athletes. We photograph seating bowls empty and clean for rental marketing, then suites, clubs, concourses, and concessions. Locker rooms, training rooms, and weight rooms matter most to recruits, so we light them carefully and keep personal items out of frame. Press boxes, broadcast positions, and concession stands round out a rental or sponsorship package, and we can add short video clips of the concourse for venue websites.
New venues are best photographed before the first event, while seats, floors, and signage are still spotless. If the opening is close, a quick stills session followed by a fuller visit later in the season can work well.

Stadiums carry special drone rules. Large venues often have temporary flight restrictions during events, and many Denver, Colorado area fields sit under controlled airspace. Ahead of any stadium or field flight, our Part 107-certified, insured pilots look up the airspace and any event restrictions, and we only fly empty venues unless an event organizer has secured authorization.
We do not fly over players, spectators, or practices. School and parks fields are scheduled when no teams are using them, and we coordinate with the facility manager about sprinklers, mowing, and maintenance windows so the field looks its best.
