Quick answer
Denver construction live video monitoring gives owners and project teams a remote view of the jobsite. Rocky Mountain Photography plans, installs, and maintains construction cameras for progress visibility and timelapse, and confirms during scoping whether live viewing fits your site's power and connectivity. Security monitoring is a separate service we do not provide. Request a quote.
Denver construction live video monitoring lets stakeholders check a project from anywhere. An owner in another city can see whether the crane is up, a project executive can check activity before a meeting, and marketing can grab a current view for a social post. The same camera that offers a live view can capture timelapse frames, so progress visibility and storytelling come from one installation.
Rocky Mountain Photography, founded in Denver in 2016 by brothers Jeff and Nick Perry, manages construction cameras focused on progress records and timelapse. We are upfront about our scope. Our cameras are for documentation and remote viewing, not security. If theft deterrence or active monitoring is a priority, a security provider should handle that, and our progress cameras can work alongside them.
Live and near-live views help teams in several ways. Owners and lenders can check progress between site visits. Project executives overseeing multiple jobs can glance at activity without driving across the metro. Design teams can see conditions without scheduling a walk. Communications teams can share an embeddable view on a project website so the community can watch a school, hospital, or civic building rise. The camera also records frames on a schedule, which feed into construction timelapse edits at milestones and at completion. What these cameras do not provide is security monitoring. They are not watched by an operator, are not tied to alarms, and are positioned for the best progress view rather than for coverage of gates and storage areas.

Whether live viewing works depends on the site. Each camera needs a stable mounting point with a clear view of the work, such as a neighboring building, a pole, or a fence structure, and the mount must stay in place for the life of the project. Power can come from site power or a solar setup, and connectivity typically comes from a cellular connection or site internet. Weak signals, shading on solar panels, or mounts that will be removed during construction all affect the plan. We scout the site, discuss options with your team, and recommend a setup only when it will work reliably. Installation is scheduled with the superintendent, and maintenance visits keep lenses clean and equipment running through Colorado's wind, snow, and summer heat.

A live camera is most valuable when it is part of a broader documentation plan. Archived frames from the same camera become a long term timelapse film that shows the entire build in minutes. Monthly drone flights through our construction aerial photography service add site-wide views the fixed camera cannot see. Ground-level visits through progress documentation packages capture interior work. Together, these give stakeholders both a live window and a dated record. At completion, the timelapse, aerials, and finished photos can be edited into a project film for marketing and awards. If your project only needs periodic visual updates rather than live viewing, a timelapse camera without a live feed may be simpler. We will recommend the simplest setup that meets your goals.

No. Our cameras are for progress visibility and timelapse, not security. They are not watched by operators or tied to alarms. For theft deterrence or active monitoring, work with a security provider, and our cameras can operate alongside theirs.
A stable mounting point with a clear view, a power source such as site power or solar, and reliable connectivity, usually cellular. We scout the site in Denver and recommend a setup only when those needs can be met for the life of the project.
Often, yes. Depending on the setup, a live or regularly updated view can be embedded on a project or community page. You decide what is public. Some owners keep views private for the project team only.
Yes. The camera captures frames on a schedule, which we edit into milestone and final timelapse films. That makes one installation useful for both remote viewing and storytelling at the end of the project. Frames are archived.
We schedule maintenance visits to clean lenses, check mounts and power, and address issues. Colorado weather can be hard on equipment, so periodic checks keep the camera running from groundbreaking to completion. Visits are scheduled with your team.
Request a quote with the site address, project schedule, and possible mounting locations. We will review power, connectivity, and views, then recommend a live setup, a timelapse-only camera, or another documentation approach. A site plan helps us scout.
