Safety, rules, and venue permission
Weddings are crowded, emotional, and unpredictable, so safety comes first. FAA rules restrict flying over people who are not part of the operation, so our pilots plan flight paths that keep the drone clear of guests, and they avoid hovering over the ceremony itself. Many venues have their own drone policies, and some public lands, including national parks, prohibit drones entirely, so we confirm permissions before the day. Venues near Denver International Airport, Centennial Airport, or other controlled airspace may require FAA authorization, which our pilots request in advance where needed. Wind, temperature, and thunderstorms in the mountains can ground the drone, and our pilots will not fly when conditions are unsafe. We keep flights short and quiet during sensitive moments. If drone flight is not possible at your venue, we will tell you during planning so you can adjust expectations early instead of on the day.
