How we film a day in the life
Our crew stays small, usually one or two people, with compact cameras and wireless microphones. That keeps subjects comfortable and lets us move through offices, homes, vehicles, and job sites without disrupting the day. We plan key moments in advance, such as a morning commute, an important meeting, or a site visit, but leave room for the unplanned moments that make these videos feel real.
Short interviews at the start or end of the day add reflection and context, and natural sound from the day carries much of the story. In editing, we shape hours of footage into a clear arc with licensed music when appropriate, captions, and versions for websites and social channels. For legal matters, the approach changes significantly: no music or staging, preserved originals, and direction from counsel. See day in the life video for personal injury for that work.
