Quick answer
Rocky Mountain Photography offers drone videography in Evergreen, Colorado with Part 107-certified, insured pilots. We film mountain homes in the trees, acreage, Evergreen Lake events, and downtown, and we check airspace and local rules, including open space and national forest restrictions, for every Evergreen address before we fly.
Drone videography in Evergreen reveals what is hidden in the trees. From the road, a mountain home may be barely visible. From the air, buyers can see the lot, the clearings, the views, and how the property sits in the forest.
We fly for agents, builders, venues, and businesses, often alongside ground photos and video.
Aerial video in Evergreen is often about the reveal. A slow rise from a deck through the treetops shows the view corridor and the ridgelines beyond. A pass along a long driveway shows the approach and the privacy of the lot. A sweep over Evergreen Lake shows the water, the Lake House, and the town around it.
Flying near tall trees and slopes takes careful planning, and we map out each move before takeoff. Footage is edited to the length you need and color matched to any ground video. For a full production, see our video production in Evergreen, which can weave aerials into interviews and ground footage.
Light in Evergreen changes dramatically with the seasons. In summer, monsoon rains bring brilliant greens, though afternoon thunderstorms often mean flying in the morning. In winter, fresh snow can transform a property, but north slopes stay in deep shade and the low sun leaves long shadows across the trees.
We choose the time of day and season that suit each property, then capture aerial stills that show the lot, outbuildings, view corridors, and access. Images are delivered edited and sized for listings, websites, and print. Learn more about our drone aerial services and how we plan mountain flights around weather and light.
Evergreen is generally outside the controlled airspace of the Denver airports, but the public land around it has its own rules. Jefferson County open space parks, including Elk Meadow and others near town, may require permits or restrict drones. National forest land has its own regulations, and wilderness areas farther west generally do not allow drone takeoffs or landings.
Our pilots are Part 107-certified and insured, and we check airspace and local rules for every address before each flight. We launch from private property with the owner's permission and keep a close eye on mountain wind. If a site cannot be flown, we tell you early.

Yes. Every pilot holds an FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate, and our flights are insured. Before each Evergreen flight we check airspace and the rules for nearby open space and national forest land, then plan a launch point on private property.
Flights over Jefferson County open space may require permits or be restricted. We can often show those landscapes in the background by flying from a nearby private property with permission, and we confirm options during planning.
National forest land has its own drone regulations, and wilderness areas generally prohibit drone takeoffs and landings. We check the land status for every Evergreen site and plan flights from private property wherever possible, with the owner's permission.
Many Evergreen aerial still sets are ready the next day. Edited aerial video takes longer because it includes shot selection, color grading, music, and revisions, and we give you a delivery date for the video before the flight.
We reschedule. Afternoon thunderstorms in summer and strong wind in winter are common in the foothills. If conditions are unsafe or would hurt the footage, we move the flight to the next good window and keep ground work on schedule when possible.
Book online or request a quote with the address, what you want filmed, and your deadline. We check airspace and land rules first, then confirm the flight plan and schedule in writing, often with ground photos or video.
