Filming sessions with children and families
Before any filming, your clinic handles consent with families according to your policies and applicable privacy rules, including how footage will be used, who will see it, and how long it will be kept. We follow those decisions exactly. On filming days, our crew is typically one or two people, dressed simply, with compact cameras positioned out of the way. We arrive early, set up before the child enters, and avoid bright lights and unnecessary movement.
Sessions run on the child's terms. If a child is unsettled, we pause, step back, or stop for the day, and clinicians lead every decision. Remote-operated or fixed cameras can reduce the presence of crew in the room. Wireless microphones on the therapist capture clear audio of prompts and language. Siblings, parents, and other children appear only with consent, and anyone can ask to stop recording at any time.
