The Denver metro is busy airspace. Large parts of it sit under controlled airspace tied to Denver International, Centennial, Rocky Mountain Metropolitan, and other airports, and hospitals across the city have active helipads. Stadium events and VIP visits can add temporary flight restrictions on short notice.
Every flight starts with an airspace check and, when needed, an authorization request. Our pilots hold FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificates and carry insurance, and they follow the rules on flying over people, at night, and near traffic. If a location cannot be flown legally or safely, we tell you during quoting and suggest alternatives such as rooftop or lift positions.
Weather matters too. Front Range winds often build by late morning, so many of our flights are scheduled early, and we keep backup dates for projects where aerials are the main deliverable.
It starts with a short call or form: the address, what you need to show, where the images will be used, and your deadline. We check the airspace, look at the site on a map, and send a written scope with the pilot, deliverables, and delivery timing.
On the day, the pilot arrives early, walks the launch area, and confirms conditions. Most property flights take under an hour; mapping and large sites take longer. Edited photos are often delivered the next day, while video edits and mapping products take a few more days.
