Drone LiDAR Scanning and Point Clouds
Drone LiDAR fires laser pulses to measure surfaces and build a dense, accurate point cloud. It performs well where photo-based mapping struggles, such as vegetation along the South Platte corridor, drainage channels, and complex structures with many edges.
Point clouds support existing-conditions models, design work, and stockpile or earthwork volume calculations. They do not replace a legal boundary survey, and when a stamped survey is required our data supports your licensed land surveyor. Learn more about LiDAR point cloud scanning. Before flying, we agree on the coordinate system, accuracy targets, and deliverable formats so the data fits your workflow. Scans can be repeated later to measure change on grading, drainage, or stockpile work across a long build.
